Humans have proven they're able to withstand the harshest natural conditions -- from crossing the Sahara Desert to voyaging to the South Pole.

Here in Northern Michigan we have another test of human fortitude -- the polar bear dip.

This weekend hundreds of people will be diving into icy waters across the state to raise money for Special Olympics. On Friday morning Kaz and Corey went to the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa to "warm up" for the very chilly event.
