Robyn Update: The Next Chapter

Good Monday morning everyone! I realized I haven’t written an update in awhile and wanted to let you all know that things are moving very smoothly lately. I have another minor surgery scheduled for next week and then I am almost completely done. I am feeling better than ever and making great strides with my recovery. Not only that, but this past weekend made me realize that things do get better after cancer: I got engaged! Talk about a great surprise!
As for where I’ll be next, this Saturday is the “Running Towards a Cure” 5K in Mio. It’s at 10 a.m. I’ll do my best at trying to stay with the pack—although all I’m hoping for is to make it across the finish line and help those who are battling this terrible disease… and hopefully someday cancer will be a word that used to exist. Hope to see you all then!
