UPDATE: Severe Weather Damage and Power Outages

7:15 a.m. - M66 near 20 Mile road is back open.

Here's a list of updated power outages throughout the Northern Michigan Area:

Gladwin: 2,685

Midland: 1,701

Clare: 1,108

Osceola: 606

Missaukee: 228

Wexford: 297

Consumers Energy will be out this morning assessing all the damage.

They ask that if you see a fallen power line, stay away from it and call them immediately.

4:30 a.m. - This morning nearly 16, 000 people are without power in central Michigan. Osceola, Clare, Midland and Gladwin counties were the hardest hit, with lots of reports of downed trees and power lines.

Fallen trees and power lines closed part of M66 near 20 Mile Road in Marion. Crews have extensive clean-up ahead and aren't sure when the road will be back open.

10:15 -- The Tornado warning for Clare County has been dropped. They are now under a severe thunderstorm warning.

9:50 -- Clare County is currently under a Tornado Warning.

Take shelter if you are in a dangerous area.

The Tornado Warnings for Missaukee and Wexford counties have been dropped, they are now under a Severe Thunderstorm warning.
