Developing: Fire Destroys Mecosta County Home

Fox 32 News was on scene of an overnight house fire in Mecosta County.

The fire started around 10:00 p.m. Sunday night in Big Rapids.

Right now details are limited, but we do know a neighbor called in the fire and nobody was home at the time. We're told the home is completely destroyed.

Firefighters also tell us the fire started at the east end of the house and spread all the way to the garage, engulfing the entire house.

Right now the cause of the fire is unknown. It remains under investigation.
